چکیده
The properties of porous and lightweight ceramic foam that can be cured at room temperature using metakaolin-based geopolymers were studied. A geopolymer slurry was prepared metakaolin a potassium-based alkaline medium temperature, the obtained viscous paste expanded via gaseous methods, by means decomposition peroxide temperature. Therefore, (GP) developed in this study through multivariate geopolymer, foaming agents, surfactants (within 5 days) without separate heat treatment process. homogeneous micropores stabilization interface between oxygen gas bubbles generated base-catalyzed hydrogen peroxide. porosity confirmed to 29% 54% before after sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). compressive strengths densities 1.57 MPa 0.75 g/cm3 for GP SDS, 3.63 0.48 with SDS. Through mercury intrusion porosimetry analysis, pores further refined from 100 µm 30 when SDS used, same time, variation pore size minimized, so relatively uniform maintained. In addition, thermal conductivity is 0.0803 W/m·K 33.2 μm, which smaller diameter than containing only As result, although alone sample has excellent conductivity, use surfactant recommended fine micropore control. While reducing non-uniform distribution direct method as an inorganic binder, possibility insulation finish also weight.

Effect of sequential treatments with sodium dodecyl sulfate and citric acid or hydrogen peroxide on the reduction of some foodborne pathogens on eggshell
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), citric acid, and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), alone or in combination, on reducing the population of four foodborne pathogens, including Escherichia coli, Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella typhimurium, and Staphylococcus aureus on eggshells. In each series of tests, eight fresh eggs were inoculated with each bact...
متن کاملCuring action of sodium dodecyl sulfate on a Proteus mirabilis R+ strain.
Growth of Proteus mirabilis harboring R100-1 (fi(+)drd str(r)cml(r)tet(r)sul(r)) factors in Penassay broth containing sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) leads to the loss of all or part of the genetic elements in high frequencies. In media containing SDS at concentrations as low as 0.03%, both lysis of R(+) cells and elimination of the R factors occur at high frequencies. Appearance of drug-susceptib...
متن کاملExperimental Measurement and Kinetic Modeling of Ethane Gas Hydrate in the Presence of Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate Surfactant
Abstract: In this work, the kinetics of ethane hydrate formation has been studied experimentally and a kinetic model based on chemical affinity has been described for predicting the hydrate growth process in the stirred batch reactor at a constant volume. The experiments were done with both pure water and aqueous solution of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). The effect of SDS on formation kineti...
متن کاملSimplified sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of unconcentrated urine with enhanced resolution and detection sensitivity.
We applied a simple sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis method to urine. The method, developed for serum protein analysis (Clin Chem 1984;30:475-9), has a high sample throughput and gives excellent resolution with unconcentrated urine. It clearly distinguishes and characterizes proteinuric urine (7.5 microL) by Coomassie Blue staining and gives complex silver-stained patte...
